The use of advanced composites in commercial transport aircraft is expanding rapidly. The aerospace industry requires a workforce trained in modern structural composites and nanotechnologies.
Through enhanced undergraduate and graduate courses, the academic member institutions of AMTAS will train a new generation of aerospace engineers and technicians to meet this need. In addition, AMTAS members will design a comprehensive suite of continuing education courses tailored specifically for engineers and technicians already in the workforce.
